Humans and dogs influence each other
People have lived with animals for thousands of years. Dogs are considered to be our most loyal companions. With the support of the FWF a research group led by behavioural biologist Kurt Kotrschal has investigated the complex facets and social nature of the human-dog relationship. Their research shows that humans and dogs influence each other (positively) and that the connection between them is similar to that between humans in a couple.
