Young stars – what makes them tick

With the support of the FWF, astrophysicist Konstanze Zwintz is trying to better understand the development of stars. The young scholar is particularly interested in the early phases of stars, which are still little researched. Just as with humans, the first phases in the life of stars determine their future fate. With modern methods, asteroseismology, it is now possible to gain new insights into the life and inner structure of (young) stars.
